Employees in California that work on projects funded by public funds are required to be paid rates determined by the Department of Industrial Relations and related to the work performed.  Drilling Rig Operators, Derek hands,  Floor hands, Drivers, Vacuum Truck Operators, Laborers, and other classifications all have specific rates set by the DIR.  These rates are the minimal rates that they are allowed to be paid under the law.  Donahoo & Associates is representing workers to show that the rates they were paid for work in Long Beach, California were not the required prevailing wages and in many cases were substantially less then the required rates.
